A bit like Pefkos, Gennadi is a small and friendly village located lower down on the eastern coast of the Island, about 20 minutes further south than Lindos town. Driving from the airport it will take you just over an hour to reach however the drive is very scenic down the east coast of Rhodes.
If you want action and adventure then Gennadi is not really the place for you I’m afraid, the slower and quieter pace does make it an excellent spot for people looking for a week or two of rest and relaxation though.
There are a few restaurants and traditional Greek tavernas to visit in the village itself, and the beach is a long and quiet pebbled affair with stunning views across the Med, again served by some restaurants and cafes.
