Kalathos is located to the southeast of Lindos area of Rhodes with stunning views of Vlycha Bay across to Haraki Castle, it is only a 10 minute walk to the local village were you will find several tavernas, a quality bakers, superb butchers, pharmacy, hairdresser, plus a couple of supermarkets which stock a good range of local produce.

Car hire is readily available and a short 5 minute journey will bring you to the neighboring picturesque resort of Lindos witch sits on the hillside overlooking the Acropolis. Within easy reach you will also find the resort of Lardos which is a family friendly resort with a traditional Greek village feel, plus Pefcos which is an old fishing village and has an excellent selection of traditional bars and tavernas. The sandy beach offers a variety of water sports.

There is a water park at Falaraki and a well maintained golf course at Afandou. Rhodes town is where you will find the historic medieval old town full of history, culture, and monuments along with a fabulous port and yachts.
